What is Hydrotherapy?

Hydrotherapy is the use of or application of water (hot or cold) as a therapy to change the body’s environment.  This therapy has been around for centuries (earliest is 1600) and is popular in other countries where the government pays for people to be healed at spa’s by bathing in and drinking the water.

I have decided to do an entire series on Hydrotherapy treatments.  Hydrotherapy  is an essential part of true nature cure and is somehow being lost in the teachings of the “new” Naturopathic Physician.  Hydrotherapy is one of my favorite modalities.  I call it a modality because it is a treatment tool all in itself, just like nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy, etc.  Below is a list of the upcoming topics:
